The Springhill Suites by Marriott Flagstaff consistently receives positive feedback, particularly highlighting its friendly and accommodating staff, spacious rooms, and convenient location. While some reviews note maintenance needs and occasional breakfast shortcomings, the overall experience leans towards a positive and value-driven stay.
Clean, quiet. Lots of space and I appreciated the layout of living area and bathroom/ bedroom area. Standard breakfast included and appreciated.
Amazing service. Front desk will help you anyway they can. Rooms are neat and organized. Breakfast has a large selection of choices (bacon was perfected). Never disappoint.
The A/C & heat unit was so extremely loud and rattled all night. The bed pillows were also weirdly small-almost like a couch pillow. The room was extremely dark and worn out looking (especially the bathroom), very underwhelming for the price. There were even pieces off of the bed missing which just left a big wood hole. The pool wasn’t in service and there was a $10.00 parking fee-both which I wasn’t really aware of when booking. Lastly the breakfast was very dull. The staff was friendly, and the room size was good, however I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.
The front desk was very friendly and clear when conveying their hotel information. Zero complaints. Though I didn't interact directly with the breakfast staff, based on hearing them talking with other, I could tell they were all genuinely friendly and very nice. Everything was clean and well prepared. I wanted to leave a 5 star review to promote and encourage the hotel team. Thank you for awesome service! If I return to the area, I would definitely stay again.
After a nightmare day with the airlines, we finally made it to your beautiful hotel. We were greeted by Shantelle, what a great woman! She was friendly warm and all around accommodating. After getting to our room we passed out for the night and upon waking in the morning we took a stroll to the breakfast buffet. It was great to see options for the allergy people. We then met Melissa, wow was she full of knowledge of the whole area. We were given pointers and a bit of history of our future stops. Thanks to all of you guys that turned a bad start into a wonderful vacation.
I love staying at this hotel. Plenty to do in the area. The hotel is very clean and very well situated. The service at the front desk is great
Out of 6 recent Marriott stays the least impressive breakfast. Few options offered, cheap plates that shed pieces of paper into your food. Worst gym as well. Will not stay here again.
We were on a road trip. This was midway point of our trip. It was within an hour and a half from the Grand Canyon national park. We were able to wash our clothes here, which was very convenient. It was $3 each for washer and dryer. Coin operated machine. Front desk has coins, and detergent you can buy. Staff was very friendly. Would stay again!
Pros: 1. You know when you go to get breakfast at a hotel about 30 minutes before they’re supposed to close but none of the food is left? That is absolutely NOT what happens here. We saw Eric make sure that even at 8:50am there was still hot eggs and bacon in the serving dishes. 2. Melissa (also working during breakfast) must have greeted not only all four members of our family with a sweet smile but also any other visitor she could make eye contact with. One of the most pleasant women I’ve come across working at a hotel! 3. The front desk (sorry forgot their names but all the women were so helpful!) also was accommodating to all our requests - including a quiet room. Cons: 1. We have had our share of Marriott stays, and this is definitely an older Springhill Suites (you can really see this in the gym). But our room had a renovated stall shower bathroom and the actual room was still very “SpringHill.” Overall, the staff working at this location make up for the older building. And they made our first stay in Flagstaff great — thank you so much!!!
I realize I’m not a bougie traveler, but this is a very nice hotel for the price. I love the way. The space is laying out giant bathroom plenty of room to throw a bike in your room that’s important. Even a large closet, which is unusual in a hotel.
