I have stayed in many Embassy hotels. This one was very unkept, dirty and beat! Holes and open seams in the carpet with a big dirty stain. Mold on the ceiling over shower, graffiti carvings inside elevator door, beat up walls, missing paint and baseboard. What a shame! Asked for 2 bath towels from housekeeping, they never showed up. Remote battery dead for tv near beds. Filthy entryway at back entrance. This hotel is neglected. Wasted my money at this place. Find another hotel

Like others have pointed out, this place is long overdue for a lot of TLC. Really hard to understand that this is a Hilton owed brand! CONS: I reported multiple times that both the bathroom sink and shower drains were slow to drain, but after multiple days they weren't fixed. The same regarding the dresser lamp flashing when powered on. I reported the Curtain rod in ceiling of living room window was half pulled out. Never got fixed either. Toilet seat was loose. Wall paper in hotel hallways and our in room was pealing. Shower wall tiles weren't flush with each other by a lot. I previously worked in construction until changing careers. The tile was clearly laid by inexperience labor, and should not have been signed off on. Bathroom threshold carpet was completely shredded along the entire threshold. PROS: Friendly staff Good location Full bar Two free drinks per person 6pm-7:30pm with some finger foods.

As a Hilton member who spends more than 100 nights a year in Hilton properties, I don’t write reviews like this lightly. Unfortunately, the Embassy Suites Flagstaff is one of the worst Hilton properties I’ve experienced in years. This hotel is simply worn out. Our room had visible mold, and the air conditioning unit rattled so violently that getting a decent night’s sleep was nearly impossible. To make matters worse, the room has no actual window shades—only blackout curtains. If you want natural daylight without putting your room on display, you’re out of luck. The biggest disappointment was breakfast. Embassy Suites has long been known for its cooked-to-order breakfast, and it’s one of the reasons I frequently choose the brand. Here, the omelet station was closed with a handwritten sign stating “Closed due to staffing.” The remaining buffet was the poorest Embassy Suites breakfast I’ve ever encountered. At that point, you’re essentially paying Embassy Suites prices for a hotel that delivers less than many Hampton Inns. Even the famous Embassy Suites evening reception has lost its appeal here. While it’s advertised as a complimentary reception, nearly everything beyond the most basic well drinks comes with an upcharge. It feels more like a marketing gimmick than a guest benefit and leaves guests feeling nickel-and-dimed. The outdoor pool and spa were also closed, and staff indicated there were no immediate plans to repair or reopen them. For a full-service Embassy Suites, allowing major guest amenities to remain out of service indefinitely is unacceptable, especially when guests are paying premium rates with the expectation that advertised amenities will actually be available. The bartender shared that this hotel was supposed to undergo a major renovation four years ago, but it has reportedly changed ownership multiple times and the project never happened. Whether that’s true or not, the condition of the property certainly reflects years of deferred maintenance. Every part of the hotel feels tired, neglected, and well past the point where cosmetic fixes will make a difference. What ties all of these issues together is the overwhelming impression that ownership is penny-pinching at every opportunity. Whether it’s eliminating the cooked-to-order breakfast due to staffing, charging extra during what is supposed to be a complimentary evening reception, leaving the outdoor pool and spa closed indefinitely, or allowing rooms and building systems to deteriorate, the focus appears to be on cutting costs rather than delivering the guest experience that people expect from the Embassy Suites brand. That strategy may save money in the short term, but it creates a terrible customer experience. The staff members I interacted with were friendly and genuinely seemed to be doing the best they could, but they can’t overcome years of neglect and apparent lack of investment by ownership. Hilton should be embarrassed to have its name on this property. Embassy Suites has always represented spacious accommodations, quality breakfasts, a worthwhile evening reception, and an overall premium experience. This hotel delivers none of those. It honestly feels like a property that should either undergo a complete renovation under committed ownership or lose the Embassy Suites flag altogether. Until that happens, I strongly recommend staying elsewhere in Flagstaff. There are far better options in the area that will provide a cleaner room, a quieter night’s sleep, functioning amenities, and a much better value for your money.

Disappointed with our stay at this Hilton location. Starting with what went well: Friendly and helpful staff. On site laundry worked. That's it... Here we go: The hotel itself is in a sad state. Chipped paint and peeling wallpaper, graffiti in the elevators. Rooms were a let down. Chipped doors, no USB outlets, very few power outlets at all, no streaming on the TV, just basic cable, loose tiles on the bathroom floor, a toilet that makes you question if it's going to flush, and the worst was the tub not draining during a shower and staying full overnight until checkout. Was quite a fall from what we are used to from Hilton hotels. We will not be returning to this location for future stays, and would actively advise others to avoid.

The hotel itself is one of the better Embassy Suites I’ve stayed in while traveling. My room had a lamp that was missing a bulb, the shower had a curtain that didn’t keep all the water in the shower, and the door would stick. But it was comfortable and clean. The service at check in was very excellent, they do provide a free breakfast and a reception in the evening with free drinks. But part of my problem with this hotel is my car was hit in the parking lot overnight, my driver’s side mirror was dislodged and I was told the hotel didn’t have cameras in the parking lot. There’s also some kind of an apartment building with people walking to and from behind the property and it’s on a busy street in Flagstaff.

This particular Embassy Suites is not up to par with others. Although the hotel is in an okay area and reasonably convenient by car to most everything. The rooms are very outdated with multiple stains in the carpeting nicks and holes in the wall very worn furniture as others have mentioned. Fixtures are also on the same level with old worn toilette. Tv's in my room did not work as neither had a signal. Fortunately, I did not spend much time in my room as I was busy both days I stayed. But if I had been in the room much more, it would have certainly had more of an impact on my stay.

Don't waste your time. We checked in to our room on the 3rd floor using the Hilton app, went to the room, saw the torn up old sofa, chunks of carpet missing from the main bedroom, rusted hvac vents in the room, bare minimum of cleaning had been done an inch of daylight coming thru the base of the inside hotel room door and we decided to check out, get a refund and stay elsewhere. Don't let the great location fool you. It is extremely dated, not well cleaned and not well cared for. The pool had a nasty looking tarp over it and was closed. In June. In Flagstaff. Do better. The saving grace was the hotel clerk didn't give me a hard time about checking out an hour after checking in. She refunded the $ and we were able to call to get our points back. Sad this excuse for quality is acceptable to a hotel conglomerate that size with it's name on it. We switched to a different, much better hotel we are much happier at.

I went there for a school trip from high school and it wasn't bad. It was nearby everything and I enjoyed the rooms even though I couldn't open the windows. The breakfast had a lot of options to choose. I would definitely stay in this hotel if I wanted to go to Flagstaff again. I tried to take as many pictures as I can but almost all of them came out blurry.

We love to stay at Embassy Suites when we can and this isn't the nicest one we've stayed at. I agree with the others that it is an older building, but didn't notice mold in our room likw many reported - there was missing grout around the shower, but it was clean from what I can tell. One of the major draws for us is their made to order omelets for breakfast - found it odd that they were served in paper plates, which isn't what we're used to, but still delicious. Not as much fresh fruit selection, yogurt bar, and waffle stations were empty. We did stay on Monday and Tuesday and they werent very busy, so maybe that's why?

The description says, "...polished all suite hotel..." I disagree. The rooms are neglected, the furniture is old and worn with fraying threads and discoloration from years of use. There's significant rust on the bathroom fan in the room we had and a piece of a baseboard just fell off. The employees are stellar and really show up. I have the utmost respect for them. The location is fantastic regarding proximity to freeways. At the same time, we parked in a well lit area, and there was broken glass from a car that had been broken into. As it is a budget option and we were there during the Holidays, the breakfast buffet was overrun with families. A lot of mess left on tables and the carpet, kids running about in a space where there's just not a lot of room. I appreciated having a place to stay. The room had a feeling of despair. I don't think guests should have to accept neglected rooms as the standard in exchange for a reasonable price point. The holiday decorations were nice.
