The GreenTree Inn Flagstaff offers a generally affordable stay with decent amenities and a convenient location near shopping and the highway. However, reviews highlight inconsistencies in cleanliness, breakfast quality, and occasional staff interactions, along with some operational issues like unreliable internet and inconsistent hot water. Recent improvements and friendly staff are noted, but maintenance and attention to detail require further focus.

If I drive through here, I hope to find this place again. When I found this place during our travels to California, the post advertised $65. When I called the place, the price was too high, $130 for two people, one night. Once I had told them about the ad, the rep said they would match the price regardless who it's from. Got the lower price, not sure if rep understood me, it was their ad!!

We only stayed for one night but everything was fine from check-in, to not having freeway noise or extra traffic from being next to Walmart. That was actually a concern before I arrived but really non-existent once I was there. my only qualm is there's not a soap dish in my shower and my girlfriend said it seemed to be body wash in the shampoo container so I used soap and shampoo from home. there was a little fridge and coffee maker in the room (just be aware they are both small). not sure if there's an elevator to go to second floor as we only used stairs. free breakfast is 6am-9am. we went about 8 on weekday and there was still some items to choose from. there's not eggs but there's hot coffee, cereal and make your own fresh waffles.

Good location decent rooms but housekeeping opened my door 3 times. You'd think the front desk would have told them I'd extended you'd think after the first one came in she would have told the rest or maybe the second one but nope 3 different people walked in my room. Management barely eeked out an apology. I canceled and got a refund.

Overall: The room was fine, but there were several issues throughout the stay. I travel often and stay in a wide range of hotels, so I have a good sense of what to expect around the $100/night price point. PROS: - Clean room - Friendly and helpful front desk staff - Comfortable bed - Great, centralized location in a safe area - Reasonable price (about $100/night after package discount) CONS: - Housekeeping was minimal: During our 6-day stay, we had to request towels daily. The room was only cleaned once (on day 4, after asking), and even then only one bed was made and trash wasn’t taken. - Toiletries were not stocked: Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were nearly empty upon arrival. After notifying the front desk at 7am, nothing was refilled by the time we returned at 6:30pm and had to request it again. It was then taken the following day when they came to make the one bed. - No bathtub: Only a shower, which may be inconvenient for families or guests who prefer baths or have children. - Breakfast was very limited: Options included cereal, white bread, bagels, waffles, and biscuits and gravy (only on day 1) and potatoes (only on the last day). We were told sausage was available daily but never saw it. - Noisy HVAC unit: The fan/heater would get very loud and vibrate. One night it became so disruptive at 4am, it woke us all up and we had to turn it off and sleep in the cold (around 30°F outside). - No visible ice machine: Staff couldn’t confirm its location at check-in, and we never found one, so we had to get ice elsewhere each day. *Overall, while the basics were covered, the lack of upkeep and amenities made the stay less comfortable than expected for the price

Look, it's not too much to ask to have a 6:00 AM breakfast ready at 6:00 AM My main issue is that I'm paying for the middle tier place but got a motel 6 experience. The rooms are small, we paid for 2 queens and if those beds are queens I'm the King of England. The bathroom exhaust fan was dangling from the ceiling The beds were comfortable so there was that. If you need a place to sleep, there are others and they're cheaper

Front desk lady was very nice. Area is great too. The room was a bit disappointing, the floor had stains, the bathroom wasn't very clean and 2nd day we had to report so much noise coming from other people.

We had a large group and stayed in 4 rooms which were all clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lacking, knowing it is included continental I don't expect much but this did not even meet that bar. First try we went down at 7am and caught the tail end of a rush so there was no room to sit and hardly any food to have, coffee out as well. Tried again at 8am and luckily there were only a few other guests and the food was slowly getting replenished. No toaster for toast or bagels, only microwave. They should have more than 1 person working between 6-9am knowing everyone will be there to get their free breakfast. There is no way 1 person can keep up on replenishing food and drink and also checking guests out and answering the constantly ringing phone (but huge kudos to them as they kept a pleasent demeaner and thanked everyone for being patient as they worked to bring the food out and help everyone). If you are looking forward to a decent breakfast, look elswhere. If you are looking for only safe comfortable accomodations for the night then this is great.

Check in staff was super friendly. Rooms were simple but good for the price. The breakfast was a bit of a mess, not very sanitary, and very limited. There were also no forks or spoons available which was disappointing. Traveling with hungry kids, ultimately we just left and opted to grab food at a restaurant.

We had a great stay at this location. We had great start with good customer service from the young man in the lobby. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were nice and firm and the room had all the required toiletries. Water was warm or hot, depending on your needs and the heater worked great in the room. The only item is that the breakfast area was small and it did not accommodate all of the guests. We went around 7:30 am and they had cereal, eggs, potatoes, bread, juices, coffee and oatmeal packets. It was okay but wish they offered a protein. I would totally recommend for you to stay but know they have no elevator.
