This motel is run by an Asian Indian couple. He is very friendly. Her; not so much. Both have strong accents you may only understand 15% of. You can smell that signature Indian scent at the front desk, but not in your motel room. It was very clean to both the sight and smell. Though they're likely Hindu, they respect the American tradition of a Christian bible in the motel room's bedside drawer. Their price is competitive. I would stay here again.

It doesn't get any better. Incredible value in a family owned motel. Perfect location near NAU and downtown. Room was spotless. Beds were comfy. Front desk staff was friendly. Nothing fancy but if you want a great value, super clean, and safe, this is it.

I chose the location because it's close to downtown and had good reviews. The beds are super comfortable and the rooms are very clean. I would definitely stay here again.

For a very low price it is a very comfortable space. It is quick to get to from the I-17, very centrally located, and has been my favorite accomodation while here working. I booked and then came back and rebooked! Do note that there aren't any frills or upperclass amenities. Just good ol' comfortable bedding and quiet privacy. Parking is right outside of the door and it is quick to get in and out whenever necessary.

My husband and I came up to Flagstaff to get away for the weekend. We chose Highland country Inn. The price was fantastic!! The room was Uber CLEAN the beds were so comfortable. We got a great night sleep thank you for an incredible visit. We will be coming back most definitely!! The Lugo’s

I had an excellent stay at this motel. Everything was spotless from start to finish the room was extremely clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully equipped. I really appreciated the practical amenities: a fridge, microwave, and coffee ready to enjoy in the morning. The atmosphere was quiet, the furniture simple but very clean, and the bed was comfortable. It’s the kind of place where you walk in and immediately know you made the right choice. The attention to detail and the overall sense of freshness truly stood out. Everything felt organized, neat, and welcoming. Without a doubt, I would come back here in a heartbeat.

Great ownership, (family owned) friendly. Well maintained clean rooms, straightforward property. Used this location to rest and recover after a month of National Parks hiking before heading back to airport in Vegas. Walking distance to everything and great coffee shop next door. Will seek this location when passing through Flagstaff again. Booked one night then extended immediately based on comfort. Highly recommended and exceeded expectations.

Solo stay to catch early AM train. Basic, but very very clean. Nice couple managing at night. I even saw them watch me get into my room safely! (I'd asked about safety in the area). I even got a mid size fridge to chill my train ride food!

I'm really traveling a lot and this is the cleanest motel I've ever been. Everything is spotless it's quiet. They're paying attention to detail. It's highly highly recommended.

Exceptionally well done remodel of an older hotel. Very nice, spotlessly clean rooms. Convenient to UNA and walking distance to great restaurants and coffee. A true gem when compared to what you pay for other hotels in town.
