#1 it's dog friendly, up to two dogs no more than 150lbs, and there's no additional costs for bringing them. Yes, please as my pits got to ride an elevator to the 3rd floor and sniff the abundance of the Flagstaff Urban Trail System, each morning. I was there for 4 nights over the 4th of July weekend. The pocket Fire was raging near Sedona so the sky filled with falling embers and this motel 6 served as an affordable place to escape. Bring your own shampoo, but I wasn't there to wash my hair and two bars of soap was ample with as many towels as you need. The rooms could use a thorough wiping of the walls and may have a little dirt, but nothing a good pair of slippers can't fix. I had an interaction with the infamous virtual concierge and I thought it was a trip. I locked myself out of my room at 6:50am and the lobby was empty, when I heard the kiosk start talking, seeking to help me. It printed off a new key (which didn't work) and I had to return until a human was awake to intervene after another failed key card was given. Thank you Frederick for helping me get into my room and if you stay here long enough you'll see some familiar faces. It serves not only as a motel but available for short term rentals. It's a welcoming community if you're patient and willing to be nice to folks who may have an accent but who are kind. A Walmart and Bashas grocery store are walking distance across the street, along with a number of decent food spots in the area. I bumped into a few transients along my walks but everyone in Flagstaff seems to be coming or going somewhere. At just under $400 (I had some discounts and paid less) it was a great value for someone with fur babies and who'd be denied by other establishments for having bully breeds. And remember, they'll keep the light on.

Ovi at the front desk is amazing. I really wanted to give 5 stars because Ovi and the rest of the staff are so nice; but I have to be honest. It sucks that there isn't anyone at the office until 2pm daily, and the rest of the time there is a tv-talk system, where you have to talk to someone from over-seas, and their accents are to thick to be able to understand them... also, the wifi is not strong enough to work consistently, yet strong enough to interrupt my data. Overall, still the best Motel-6 I have ever stayed at.

Welp. If you're here you're thinking motel 6. N im gonna just say, for a motel 6 id say this is the best. Having said that, this night, 1am, I lay awake in this bed wishing with all my heart that this mattress was....a different one. An entirely different one in which humans with various spinal cords issues may find a comfortable position in.? Even just long enough to fall asleep for a time, but we have dogs. Anywho, here is your sign to possibly get a hotel just a hop up in price to save your bones. Ahh motel 6, pretty please purchase new mattresses, pretty please. I know we have dogs, but quite frankly I wish I had brought a blanket in so I could join my beautiful bassador (basset lab) on the floor. How much is a fair cot i do wonder? Anywho, the office lady is amazing, and the room, a motel 6 room, but the nest my friends......the ?. Please can we have dogs and also a good bed. Goodnight, perhaps. (Even the "lightly used" or "low miles" spinal cords are suffering) Much love

In this day and age, paying exactly $50 total—including all taxes and fees—for a hotel room is absolutely unheard of. Because of the price, I kept my expectations low. I didn't get much, but I got just enough. The essentials were covered: the room was clean enough, the water was hot, and the TV actually worked (which is more than I can say for two pricier hotels I stayed at on this same trip). It was also surprisingly quiet for a massive 400-room property, and I found no signs of bedbugs. However, you get what you pay for, and I had to drop two stars for a couple of major inconveniences. First, they did not provide shampoo. Second, they advertised Wi-Fi, but the speed was a crawling 4mbps, which is basically useless. Lastly, the lobby features a remote hologram staff worker instead of real, on-site humans. While I didn't have any major issues, a hologram can't give you the shampoo they forgot to put in your room, or bring you extra towel towels. If you just need a cheap, clean place to crash, you can't beat the price. Just bring your own soap and don't plan on streaming any videos.

To start, they had no coffee. Otherwise, all was good. The motel is close to the Urban trail system, so I had a wonderful, after dinner walk through the pine forest. Their pool was nonexistent, so no dip after my hike. The accommodations were adequate. Overall, great stop.

This place is a joke. I called to see if I could get an early check in since I got into town and had been driving for 14 hours. The front desk lady I spoke with said yes that was fine but it’s going to be a $35 fee. I said that was great and she said she could get me in. When I got to the hotel she suddenly changed her mind and said that the current room type that I booked was not available and she would have to upgrade me and charge me an extra $100 plus a check in fee of $35. Then she asked how much I was willing to pay for an upgrade I said I didn’t want to upgrade I just wanted to check in early like she had told me I could over the phone. Then since her supervisor was listening she said she never said that. Then why would I drive all the way over here?It was very upsetting that the hotel scammed me and took advantage of me like that. Do not stay here. They will try to scam you out of your money.

The hotel felt quite outdated overall, and the bathroom had a very institutional, almost hospital-like feel to it. Fortunately, the place was fairly quiet during my stay, but the walls are extremely thin; I could clearly hear my neighbors and even felt a bit bad while watching TV late at night. On the positive side, everything was clean, and the staff was genuinely excellent. The location is also very convenient, which is a big plus. That said, I booked a Saturday night during a motorcycle trip, and the value for money was disappointing. It ended up being the second most expensive room of my trip, yet by far the weakest in terms of quality. I suspect prices might be more reasonable on weekdays. Overall, I would only recommend this hotel for a short, no-frills stay or a quick stopover, especially if you can get it at a lower rate.

It's like they say you get what you pay for, no refrigerator no microwave you had to bring your own soap shampoo which I get but I wish I would have known. Other than that the room was great the bedroom. Would I recommended it would be hard to say but the price was reasonable and within my budget so I can't complain.

This was a surprise visit for me from my husband, so he did the booking and what not for the time we were there. The location is EXCELLENT! Close enough to the attractions, grocery stores and shopping plaza right next to us. Walmart AND target within a mile or 2 and our neighbor was super cool, friendly and quiet. But the room itself was disgusting! I will say it seems they’ve added all the amenities based off the other reviews I’m seeing. We had microwave a mini fridge there was a tiny Coffee machine without the actual Coffee Pot so it was useless, but it was really gross so I wouldn’t use it anyway. There was a hairdryer, but it only turned on and only worked on Low and kind of sounded like a chainsaw. It was crazy. I was scared to use it so I ended up Stopping halfway through. The room itself was so nasty. I had my own cleaning wipes and sprays so I wiped things down as best I could because I wasn’t gonna go buy a bunch of cleaning products to clean this room myself. In every corner and all along every edge, and somehow the ceiling in the bathroom was disgusting. I thought maybe there were some stains or old paint but also it looks like it had been a redone(fresh paint new beds and bedding) and when I wiped it down it came right off so it’s literally just Neglected. I never even saw or heard from any room service and we were there for four days. And as far as room service, I literally Just mean someone I’m coming by with a cart asking if we need our garbage taken or some clean towels. The couple that we had in the room were stained. There was some kind of press on nail in the corner of our bathroom. I couldn’t tell if it was a child’s press on or a toenail press on either way it was gross. Oh and the door was super sketchy, it didn’t look like it was ever closed. And they used 3-4 different screws on the lock. I used my own tools to tighten because they weren’t even secure. And I still slept with something against the door and protection on my nightstand. I will definitely avoid this place our next trip there.

When I visit Flagstaff weekly my go to hotel for the low price is motel 6 woodlands, I frequent here due to the quick, smooth, friendly service from the kiosk that the hotel employs now for check in's. Let me add that Steven the employee who works the kiosk is a good, friendly, kind worker, he makes my check in's quick and easy with minimal or no inconveniences when I arrive. I recommend this place for ya'll who want to save some cash and use that on exploring and having fun in Flagstaff.
