Guests generally praise this property's stylish, modern rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and convenient location near downtown Flagstaff and major highways. However, recent negative reviews highlight inconsistent housekeeping during team bookings and specific issues with the in-house Starbucks service.
Clean, quiet room. Got upgrade to a suite, which was nice. No free breakfast which seems to be standard for Flagstaff. Maid service didn’t come during my 2 night stay, which I thought was odd. Grilled chicken sandwich with tots at the restaurant were delightful!
My wife and I had a wonderful stay here. All of the staff we encountered were so much kinder and more professional than usual, and the hotel was nicer than expected. (Note for the record that I've been Titanium or Platinum Elite for many years so I've stayed in many Marriott hotels). The rooms were stylish and nicely arranged/furnished, and we appreciated that true to the name the hotel actually has a courtyard: a very pleasant one with a fire pit for cold winter nights and plenty of seating to relax. Great place to stay for visiting the Grand Canyon but also getting to enjoy good restaurants and downtown Flagstaff's nightlife!
Rooms were new and clean and fresh. Liked the bathtub in bathroom, was a larger bath tub and the fixtures were new and clean. Bed comfortable. Wifi good and easy to get on. The only draw back was we thought there was a Jacuzzi in the pool area. The photos showed it. But when I went there, there was no Jacuzzi only pool. So big let down. Close to highway 40 and other main roads. Close to shopping centers of Flagstaff, and next to a big Walmart. Parking is not free, online it says $8. They didn't ask if I wanted to pay for parking when I checked-in, they just assumed we wanted to pay for it or wanted it, imo it would be better if they let us know before hand. Looks like they didn't bill me for it yet after I checked out. Didn't see any good spots for Elite members close to entrance, would be nice if they had those to show some appreciation. There were a lot of people after Christmas so parking can be hard to come by.
Everything with the room was nice. Could have been a little quieter but not terrible. Front desk night and morning was great as well. Now, as for the service at the "starbucks", BELINDA you need a lesson on courtesy. How dare you treat people like they're stupid and with such a nasty tone. I opted to go across the street to the actual Satrbucks and find a happier employee and service all around.
Good property! Very nicely located, walkable to the major places in the city or a free short tram ride. Our stay was made comfortable and special care taken by Jenny and Minh ensuring we have a great experience. Only thing to note- prebook your parking at the hotel since there are limited spots but also some spots to park on street, i.e.- free from 7PM-7AM. M Overall great staff and team.
Had a great 3 day stay at this Courtyard. Room was clean, modern, and well equipped. The bed was comfortable and hotel amenities were all good. Ample parking on site with quick access to the highway. Highlight of the stay was front desk agent Brandon. Our trip to Flagstaff was last minute with the only plan to go to the Grand Canyon. We inquired with Brandon for things to do and he delivered! Buffalo Park for our morning walks, Sunset Crater, Wupatki National Monument, and Walnut Canyon. Thank you Brandon for the great recommendations!
Clean and spacious! The hotel room and facilities were clean and well kept which is my priority. The room's decor was simple and to the point. Enjoyed the lay out of a mini couch in front of the tv. They had a Tesla charger station on site which was helpful since we rented one during our vacation. Would highly recommend!
By far the BEST hotel. Everyone is so friendly. Their food is good and their drinks as well. The rooms are always clean and i love their outdoor area with the fire pit.
Courtyard Flagstaff is an exceptional place to stay, offering a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere surrounded by beautiful natural scenery. The staff is friendly, professional, and committed to making your stay enjoyable. The location is a major highlight—situated near some of Arizona’s most iconic landscapes, including Horseshoe Bend and other scenic areas perfect for hiking and outdoor adventures. Whether you're visiting for leisure or exploration, this hotel provides both comfort and convenience. With nearby wildlife, trails, and breathtaking views, it's an ideal spot for nature lovers. I highly recommend it for anyone traveling through the Flagstaff area.
I need to leave a review for the customer service at this location. I was traveling and needed a place to lodge for the night. Of course it was a couple weekends ago 6/21 where there was many functions going on in the town. There was no rooms available, mind you 2nd hotel checked within less than 2 minutes apart. The 2 staff at the Front Desk, Cecilia E. and Brandon Y. were exceptional! I must say it again. They didn’t have any rooms at the hotel, but assisted us to find a room for the night locally. I would like to thank them again and let the Courtyard know you have some amazing and valuable individuals working for you ! That’s what going above and beyond customer service!
