Hotel Elev8 Flagstaff offers a convenient location near the I-40 highway and features amenities like a hot tub, sauna, and exercise facilities. Recent reviews indicate a generally positive experience with cleanliness and friendly staff, however, some concerns have been raised regarding outdated aesthetics, cleanliness issues, and inconsistent operational features like the hot tub.
This was such a pleasant stay ! Very cute and polite receptionist! Everything was clean, neat and organized. I've seen some moronic comments complaining about not having a "do not disturb " sign (and I didn't had that, either, but that's not a reason to complain and rate it lower) or that the TV didn't streamed, only had cable (I guess they added that bc I was able to watch Netflix). Don't expect things as if you're paying 300$/night, be reasonable! Pretty sure it's my new favorite stay in Flagstaff and will stay there every time I'll be in town. I love the little gym, hot tub and sauna (which didn't work at the time because of some repairings - and that's OK!).
Not what I would expect of a trademark facility. It is an old facility that has been remodeled, but not well. There were loose fixtures, old marks from previous items, and generally gave the feeling of a remodeled studio apartment building or assisted living facility. The location is convenient to the highway, dining options, and fuel stations. The facility is clean and the staff is pleasant and friendly. Parking is plentiful, but tight. The one restaurant in the parking lot is fairly noisy.
As you see in the photo it says a ' one time 35 dollar fee for your pet. Nope. 40 bucks per night. Had I know this I would've stayed elsewhere. Close to 300 for two nights? Hotel has no art. Literally nothing in room. When I informed front desk of the excess charge for animal, nothing was done. No refund, no apology that their own service had it wrong. Shower was lukewarm at best. Did not get hot. Hot tub timer does not work. Only goes up to five minutes, but turns off in two. Constant have to get out to restart it. Sauna was broken, pool closed for season. At the price they charge, it's not worth it. At all. Go elsewhere.
Dont be fooled by the exterior. The rooms seem to be upgraded recently. Comfy beds. Well lit. There's a dimmer switch which is a nice touch to set the mood in the room. Huge smart TV. There's complimentary coffee and cookies. Puja was courteous and helpful with checkin and providing local recommendations.
I had a truly wonderful experience at this hotel. The receptionist and front desk staff were incredibly helpful, polite, and professional. Check-in was smooth, and they were always ready to assist with any questions or requests, responding with a smile and genuine hospitality. Their courteous attitude really made a positive difference throughout the stay. The ambiance of the hotel was simply awesome. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay, and I would be happy to stay here again.
Elev8 is a hilarious name for this place. There is nothing elevated about it and calling this a 3-star hotel is also laughable. I guess I am angry because the website does not match what you actually get. If you have even a little appreciation for simple aesthetics, go somewhere else. This is a painfully cheap remodel (from an old Rodeway Inn), just off the interstate. The whole place is mismatched and has a confusing vibe. I say this because at least a Motel 6 has a theme. The rooms are completely stark with plain white walls and awful overhead fluorescent color lighting, giving the white bedding and white towels a slight yellow tinge. That is except for the maroon 1990's curtains that they kept, presumably from the old Rodeway, that don't match and don't make any sense, and the presence of which just feels like depression because they ran out of money or desire to redo everything. The floors were were gray, cold, anesthetic. Stark should not be confused with clean. The cleanliness was okay in the room, although nothing about the room made me want to be there, and in fact I desperately wanted to leave as soon as I arrived. The shower is supposed to be a fancy waterfall shower and never got hot, just lukewarm. The halls and hall carpet were very dirty, and there is no elevator, so if you are on the second floor, you must literally drag your suitcase up open stairs. There is free coffee in the lobby, but it's from a machine that is by the cup. I think they are going for modern but it feels cheap and unintentional, and again totally unwelcoming. This was a last minute booking and I paid almost $300 on New Year's Eve (with the pet fee). Fwiw, my dog hated it here too, mostly because a yappy dog across the hall barked non-stop for several hours while its owners left it alone in the room. The icing on the cake was room service opening our door at 7 am on New Year's Day, while my husband was getting out of the shower. Ever hear of knocking? Or just waiting until a decent hour. We were gone by 8:00, btw. Stay away, unless you want to suffer in a low-grade ambiguous way that literally hurts your soul and makes you regret ever coming upon this place.
It's decent for what you get and you get 24 hour access to amenities which is great. The staff are also very nice. Unfortunately our room REAKED of some sort of perfume/cologne like scent which i don't know if that's something they do or what but it was gnarly. The bed is pretty uncomfortable too. But, overall, not terrible.
Slept here because didn't feel like spending around $500.00/night to stay at Big Canada. Service was friendly. Front desk folks and housekeeping were great. Balcony was a nice touch. Free coffee and cookies were a yummy perk. Being close to a fast food joint, sports bar and a gas station avoided having to walk anywhere. Would stay again if it made sense
Hands down a great hotel. Pet friendly with an amazing dog area. We were lucky to get a court yard view with a private balcony. No breakfast but they do give complimentary coffee and cookies. Very comfy beds and a beautiful remodel with very clean rooms.
We booked our stay very last minute online, but everything turned out great. The hotel’s interior is newly renovated and looks fresh and modern. At check-in, we were warmly welcomed by Nia at the front desk. She was incredibly professional and friendly—truly one of the best hotel staff we’ve ever encountered. Nia was thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely made an effort to ensure every guest felt welcome and had a great stay. We would definitely stay here next time when we passing by.
