The Bespoke Inn in Flagstaff offers a charming and historic boutique experience, praised for its location, unique ambiance, and welcoming staff. While some guests appreciate the quiet residential setting and walkability to downtown, others have reported issues with noise and inconsistent service. Overall, it’s a popular choice for travelers seeking a distinctive stay.
Spent 3 nights at the Bespoke Inn in Flagstaff this past weekend and had a wonderful experience. The inn is located on a quiet residential street within walking distance of downtown Flagstaff and several great restaurants. The courtyard and outdoor spaces were welcoming and quaint, and our room (the Courtyard Flat) was clean and comfortable. My boyfriend especially loved the pour-over coffee available in the room. Management was also very quick to respond to a noise issue we experienced on our last night. A family with young children was staying in the room above us, and staff immediately contacted them to ask that they keep the noise down. They also offered to move us to a different room if the issue wasn’t resolved, which we really appreciated (and this luckily wasn't needed). Overall, I would highly recommend the Bespoke Inn and would happily stay here again!
I had high hopes for this place, but my husband I felt like it over promised and under delivered. We do have to shout out the cleanliness and location of the property. However, there were a few missteps which made us unlikely to return. We did not see an inn employee during our stay— even during posted hours the employee sign said they were out running errands. There was no water in the room when we arrived and as a result we had to exit the building to go to a storage room to collect water. Lobby offers alcohol for purchase with a sign to text, well we did that only to find out the inn employees had forgot to lock up the alcohol and it was not for purchase unless an employee was on property. It was a missed customer service opportunity, and their response left us feeling awkward and uncomfortable. Seeing as we never saw an employee we unfortunately couldn’t purchase anything during operating hours and the rules of the inn prohibited us from bringing in alcohol and enjoying outside our room at the patio fire pits. Additionally, when we returned to our room one day, our suitcase and clothes had been moved for staff to access a beach which was to our surprise full of office supplies; it was concerning they stored items in our room and accessed it during our stay and didn’t return our stuff to the place it was. For the money paid, it was like renting an air BnB.
WOW!! Beyond words at the amazing boutique style historic building hotel, and the awesome staff that went above and beyond to ensure that we had all our needs met! Receiving an email with the check in information, and notification that our room was ready early if we wanted to go in was the beginning of the level of mindfulness that we felt! The hotel is in walking distance to all the downtown restaurants and shops … staying 4 nights was perfect, and we enjoyed the uniqueness of the courtyard where we lit the outdoor fireplace and enjoyed the ambiance ??.. truly a must stay if you are looking for a unique gem! I must also say how grateful I am to Tera for always being available; even after hours, if we had a question .. this will certainly be our hotel of choice when next in Flagstaff!
My husband and I live in Phoenix and wanted a simple weekend escape up to Flagstaff, and staying at the Bespoke Inn made the trip even better. The experience started off great right when we checked in. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and you could tell they genuinely cared about making sure guests had a good stay. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable. The gas fireplace added such a cozy touch and made the space feel perfect for a relaxing mountain getaway. The bed was also fantastic. The mattress and bedding were clearly high quality and made for a very restful night. The bathroom was really nicely done with great tile work, and the shower had excellent water pressure, which is always appreciated after a day out exploring. We also really enjoyed the front patio area. The fire pit created such a nice atmosphere in the evening and it was a great place to sit, relax, and spend time with friends. Overall it was a wonderful stay and exactly the kind of relaxing getaway we were hoping for. We will absolutely stay here again the next time we come up from Phoenix.
This historic building in Flagstaff is within walking distance of downtown and is beautiful. Keep in mind the building is OLD, so there may be quirks with heating/cooling but nothing at all that would inconvenience a trip. In room coffee/tea service was awesome and checking in was a breeze. Skip the chains in Flag and stay at the Bespoke Inn.
For the price, this was disappointing. At half the cost, I'd have no complaints, but at this premium rate the issues were unacceptable. The walls are paper thin. You hear every step and movement from neighboring rooms. The heat is cranked to blazing with no individual room control. We had to open windows and run the AC simultaneously just to sleep while the furnace blasted. Meanwhile, the bathroom is unheated and freezing. The TV is tiny, the pillows are comically small for a king bed. It's essentially a bed and breakfast without the breakfast.
We stayed in the lovely Enzo and Marguerite room for one night. Very large and charming room and nicely decorated. The gas fireplace was a nice touch as well! However, we were told that there is no other heat source for the room beside the gas fireplace. I didn't sleep very much that night as I was concerned about the gas fireplace running all night long. It was a very cold night/morning and the temperature never got above 68 degrees in our room - based upon the temperature shown on the fireplace remote..so the gas fireplace couldn't keep up. I understand it is an old hotel but there is baseboard heating installed but it looks like it is no longer operational.
My husband and I just spent 2 nights in Flagstaff and stayed in the Marcelle and Olive (I think I spelled it right!) room, and wow! This was one of the top places we've ever stayed. The room was big, well furnished with thoughtful details, and so clean. It was also very quiet - but we were on the second floor. We were texted a few hours before check in that our room was already ready, with the info to access it. This was so nice! We didn't end up needing the early check-in but a nice touch that they let us know. We were able to easily walk to all of downtown, and drive when we needed to - this is in a great location. Now here's where you may prefer something different. We basically did not interact with anyone working here. We ran into someone doing housekeeping, and she was helpful and provided the additional waters we asked for. Otherwise, check-in and check-out was completely autonomous and because of where our room was located, we never really went into the main foyer. Personally, this was a plus for me! I enjoyed not needing to bother anyone to check in. But everyone is different. Also the door lock code screens could be difficult to navigate for someone with visual impairment as it is a flat touch screen, just FYI. Overall though, this is now our new standard for comparing all other hotels and inns. Absolutely loved this place!
3600 mile trip. This was one of our best rooms. Spending is 250-350 a night so we have generally nice rooms. That said. This is better. Appointed with care. Clean. Well designed. Plenty of warmth on a cold day if needed. Pillows. Walkable to downtown and in a neighborhood of nice homes. Confusing on paper. I kept thinking b and B. Nope I am not quick to hand out gold stars. This one deserved them all.
My family and I stayed at the Bespoke Inn for five nights in July, and we couldn't have been more pleased. The Bespoke Inn is unique and not like a chain; we spent our downtime sitting in the lovely courtyard. The service was great: The front desk staffer and the housekeeper were friendly and attentive. We stayed in the Emilio & Francesca suite, and it was perfect for our needs. It had a separate full bedroom (instead of the flimsy divider that other hotel "suites" have), and we were very comfortable there. Check-in is flawless. Downtown Flagstaff, with its restaurants and shops, was about an 8-minute walk away. In our room, we could sometimes hear footsteps above us and the restaurant behind the hotel; it never bothered us at all, but people who think they'll be bothered might consider a room on the second floor.
