This property is widely praised for its spacious, cozy, and well-equipped cabins and impressive clubhouse amenities, making it a strong choice for families and couples. Guests consistently highlight the friendly staff and scenic, quiet location near attractions like the Grand Canyon and Snowbowl. However, some specific cabins have significant concerns regarding age-appropriateness for young children.
My boyfriend and I stayed here in the aspen cabin for a little getaway weekend. We had such a great time. The cabin we had was perfect. It was spacious and clean! Luckily when we went it was snowing! I loved how they had games in the lounge and had really great food. I highly recommend staying here, it also great for families as well.
We had a great stay at Village Camp Flagstaff! My family of 9 stayed in a Birch model cabin. Their cabins really have it all. The kitchen included all the utensils, pots, pans, coffee machine with coffee pods, dish soap, and sponge. The bathroom had soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and loads of extra towels for everyone. There’s even a washer and dryer! We only really needed to bring our own food and clothes. It was nice and clean. It has great views. Only about a hour and a half from the Grand Canyon and 20 min from downtown flagstaff. The base camp is fun and offers a range of activities. Staff is super friendly and easy to talk to. I would recommend it to all of my family and friends!
We had the best time staying at Village Camp Flagstaff with our family. Our cabin was clean, cozy, and we loved that it had a full kitchen. The property is beautifully designed, with thoughtful touches that make the experience feel both comfortable and elevated. Our little one absolutely loved all the games and the onsite play area. There were also plenty of spots to relax and hang out. The whole place had a welcoming, laid back vibe that made it easy to settle in and truly enjoy our time. We also loved the location, a short drive to Canyon Coaster Adventure Park and Snowbowl! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Village Camp Flagstaff for your next family adventure!
This was our 2nd stay at Village Flagstaff. We really love it there. Our daughter stayed in a cabin while we stayed in our RV. It is so beautiful and well maintained. We had the site with the fire place and built in gas grill. Very spacious. WiFi worked great. The laundry facilities are centrally located. We especially love the club house. It’s gorgeous. The food is delicious and we enjoyed the live music and glass of wine. Our grand kids loved the park, lawn games and all the other children around. Kirsten the mgr, is amazing and made sure we had everything we needed. We will be going back to escape the valley heat all summer!
The good: the location to downtown flag was a short drive. It was a quiet environment. The staff could be communicated with via text. That being said, I would not stay in the cabins again with small children. We stayed in a Unit that had space with 7 beds. We had six adults and two children, under 3. The very steep stairs up to the loft, which was not big enough for an adult to stand was the only place that we could fit a pack and play. The stairs were very enticing for little ones to climb up and down, which meant that somebody always had to be on guard to watch the baby. There is no place to put children down to sleep that would mean that adults would need to go outside. The upstairs loft obviously gets very hot if you have the heat on for the people downstairs. The grill in our facility was not working unfortunately by the time we heard from from the Staff, we had figured out another way to cook the meat that we had brought from home. Our experience was not terrible. We just learned that for our size group and having little ones we need a larger place to stay. If we were to stay again, I would go as a couple.
Everything about this place is top notch! Absolutely gorgeous- the check in area has a full bar, food, an excellent sitting area with gorgeous chairs! They even had a gift shop where I wanted to buy stuff because of how trendy and cool the gear was. Every site was pristine, level, close to gorgeous cabins. Staff was excellent. We wanted to stay longer just to hang at the pool and hot tub! We stayed in December and the hot tub was open. Super fun because it was cold. Grand Canyon is only 1 hour away, meteor crater is the opposite way 45 mins. This is def a site to stay at. Hwy noise wasn’t bad at all! This place is killer! Stay here!!! Price was also reasonable.
We had a wonderful experience at Village Camp! First, the view of Mount Humphrey is spectacular as soon as you walk into the club house/check in. The tiny home was perfect with a rooftop firepit and fireplace in the living room. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen was well equipped for a longer stay/ meals in. The pool was closed for the season but the hot tub was great and the kids had a blast on the playground and amenities. Very convenient location in a beautiful quiet setting. We will be back! Staff was amazing. Top notch all around! Oh and the food was great too at the onsite restaurant!
We stayed in our 5th wheel trailer at Village camp so can’t comment on the tiny homes. The campground area and tiny homes were well maintained and clean daily. I loved the location and the fact that we were surrounded by National forest to enjoy walks and exploring. The staff were amazing and friendly. We were informed through messages of upcoming events at Village camp or of any current events or issues. I loved staying here and will definitely come back to stay for an extended time.
We had a wonderful experience at Village Camp Flagstaff. The cabin was very nice, perfect size for 4 of us and our dog. The amenities such as the pool and bistro and awesome. However they do need to be a little better stocked at the bar and have more than one person working the check in/checkout and bistro at the same time. Long waits to order anything or check in due to one staff member working both at the same time. Other than that feedback it was awesome! And super close to great trails, canyon coaster, and Bearizona. We will definitely be back.
Honestly, if it weren’t for the staff, I would’ve given this place 5 stars. I had issues with customer service on phone after my online reservation, our propane tank was empty when we were told it would be full but by the time we wanted it (evening,) the office was closed. We had ZERO sheets, pillows & blankets for our pull out sofa. We had no towels for the extra beds. There were dead bugs on the ceiling of the loft that were taped in different places. The cabin itself was adorable but we found it odd that there weren’t plates for everyone. For instance, there were 6 dinner plates but only 5 dessert plates. There were 3 small glasses but 6 champagne glasses. Terrible rating for customer service & housekeeping, in general but the concept is intriguing. Outdoor amenities are slim, which is understandable as they are growing BUT the pool was filthy. I understand bugs get inside, but I honestly never saw one employee ever clean it. Views are fantastic. It was quiet & peaceful and the beds were very comfortable.
